Copy or download
Save the generated readers as oscam.server and install them on the receiver.
Convert account lines and OSCam readers both ways
The tool reads common line formats and OSCam [reader] blocks without sending credentials to the website.
Supported formats
C: host port user pass
N: host port user pass 01 02 ... 14
CWS = host port user pass 01 02 ... 14
[reader] protocol/device/user/password
OSCam conversion
Paste one or more [reader] blocks, select CCcam, Newcamd, Mgcamd or Auto as output, then convert. Auto uses each reader's original protocol.
Install safely
- Back up the current configuration.
- Upload or paste the generated result.
- Keep Unix line endings and suitable permissions.
- Restart the related client or OSCam.
Protocol warning
This converts configuration syntax, not the remote server protocol. A CCcam endpoint cannot become Newcamd unless that server actually supports Newcamd on the selected port.
Frequently asked questions
Are my account lines uploaded or stored?
No. This tool has no submit request. JavaScript processes the lines locally in the current browser tab.
Can I convert several accounts together?
Yes. Put every account on a separate line. Each valid line becomes a separate OSCam reader.
What does the tool do with invalid lines?
Blank lines, comments and known Mgcamd options are ignored. Other invalid lines are skipped and reported after conversion.
Which Newcamd DES key is used?
The 14-byte key in the N: or CWS line is retained. If it is missing, the standard 01–14 key is inserted.
Should I overwrite my current oscam.server?
Always create a backup first. You may append the new reader blocks if their labels do not conflict with existing readers.
Why does a reader remain offline?
Confirm DNS, port, username, password and protocol. Also check whether the remote service permits the connection.
